Weddings require more than a mom with a camera, or Uncle Ed who "dabbles in photography". Because it is a once in a lifetime event, you need a professional who has experience, the equipment to get the job done, a creative approach, and an understanding of the events of the day!!! Capturing the emotion, the tears, the good times, the emotions and the joy of the day requires a professional. Dealing with lighting, scenery and logistics issues requires a professional who has the experience to get the job done. Professional photographers don't take pictures, we capture memories!!! We've got the experience to capture the special day...the first day of the best time of your life!!!
Wedding work also requires patience and the ability to handle the situations that come up and make them a positive, rather than a blemish on the day! It also requires a photographer with a personality you actually like and an approach you agree with!
The florist isn't with you all day...the person that baked and created the wedding cake may not even see you the day of the wedding. However, you'll spend a lot of your day with the photographer. We understand that, and work hard to give you the experience of a lifetime!
We can approach the day in one of two ways..or a combination of the two. Some couples like traditional posed images for the bulk of the work we do. Others like a new trend to wedding photography called Photojournalism, which uses few, if any, posed images. We would be there to just capture the day as it happens.
Most couples prefer a mix of the two...it's your choice and we can handle it either way!
